Under the coaching of Mr. W.T.D.Silva, Scrabblers of Sacred Heart Convent are under the guidance of Mrs. Padmi. About 60 students are currently engaged in Scrabble. Recently Sethmi Jayasinghe and Nonithma Dharmadasa represented the Sri Lankan team, which was awarded the third place at the Gladiators World Youth Scrabble Championship 2020.Kalpana Senivarathna and Dinuli Premarathna from Sacred Heart Convent represented the Sri Lankan team , which was placed second at the World Youth Championship 2019.Some of their other achievements were:

• 3^rd Place-Royal Scrabbler- All Island Inter-school Championship 2017-U15
• 1^st Place- Southern Provincial Scrabble Championship 2018- U15
• 2^nd Place- Royal Scrabbler –All Island Inter-school Championship- 2018-U15
• 1^st Place- B division -Inters-school Scrabble Tournament- 2018-U19
• 2^nd Place- A division- Inters-school Scrabble Tournament-2019-U19

Meanwhile, Dinuli Premarathna was placed first at both Under 16 Southern Provincial Scrabble Festivals 2018 and 2019, while Kalpana Senevirathna was placed second at the Under 16 Southern Provincial Scrabble Festival 2018 and first at the Under 18 Southern Scrabble Championship. Dinuli managed to clinch the championship at the under 13 Southern Provincial Scrabble Championship in 2018.

In the year 2019, Heartian Scrabblers Kimaya Mawananahewa and Nonithma Dharmadasa were placed second and third respectively, at the Kandy zonal qualifier tournament while Sethmi Jayasinghe was placed second at the Colombo zonal qualifier tournament.

In the year 2020, Nonithma Dharmadasa and Sethmi Jaysinghe were placed first and second respectively at the Galle zonal qualifier tournament.
