Debating Society (English)
The English Debating society of our school was initiated with the objective of using English language effectively to upgrade the students' fluency and command of the language. Further it will be an opportunity to develop their talents in debating and the creativity in the use of English language.
This Society Enables the students to participate in debating competitions within and outside the school showcasing their talents.The students of the debating society work as a team under the school motto” One heart One soul”.

Achievements
The school English Debating team became the champions at the provincial level debate competition 2018 which was organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Debaters’ Council Sri Lanka and Darmavahini Foundation.
The team represented Southern province at the national level competition and was selected for the top 8 teams and competed in the quarter finals.
